Martina's mentee, Mr. Veera at SK Bandar Mentakab, had yet another great language arts lesson with his Year 3 class this week. Firstly, he guided students in writing a short composition on a visit to the zoo, they then presented their compositions orally in class, after that he guided them in a dialogue activity where they spoke freely with their partners discussing different animals at the zoo. The class finished with a wonderful action song where the students wore their masks and we even had some great props to help the students situate themselves according to the lyrics (under the tree, behind the rock, behind the bush).
