Mentakab mentors Martina and Jimmy are almost finished conducting their reading and writing workshop in all of their schools. This Thursday, they conducted the workshop for the TELL2 teachers and year 5 students at TELL2 school SK Bandar Temerloh.

The workshop was a huge success, with the students enjoying it very much. Teachers of level 1 and level 2 classes were in attendance in order to observe the skills that were taught during the workshop. Afterwards, teachers and mentors will work together to improve the writing skills of as many students as possible with journal writing.

Also, mentors will work with teachers in the classes creating mind maps in order to help students' reading comprehension abilities. One of the most important parts of reading comprehension involves asking "WH" questions about the reading material. Mind maps will help visualize this process and familiarize the students with asking questions to understand what they read.
